This is for all the lesbians and gays on this site. My friend and I who also gets on here are wondering if and where do people get there romance novels. There are tuns of lesbian authors out there but none of there books seem to be in an audio format. All suggestions thanks.

I'd just maybe look at amazon, see if you can find the book in at least print format, and then suggest them to yoru local talking book library. I'd beinterested in lesiban romances myself not because i am one, just soemthing interesting to read.

One of my friends on here gave me a link to a great lesbian romance. I'm usually not into that kind of thing, but I really liked this. The link is:
http://eu.nifty.org/nifty/lesbian/highschool/becka-the-beast/

I'm not sure how to make that clickable yet. Go to the bottom of the page, and work your way up through the story.

Rita Mae Brown is a lesbian who also happens to be a great author. I think her book Southern Discomfort is autobiographical and is available on tape through the NLS program. Another book by her, called Venus Envy, has at least a lesbian theme although it is not stricly a lesbian romance. It is also available on tape through NLS program.

Well, starcrossed productions is a website that sells lesbian books. The address is www.scp-inc.biz. They have some books in pdf format. So check it out.

I should also say that I have yet to purchase an e-book from starcrossed, so I don't know if the pdf files will be accessible to jaws. So if anyone does this before me, will you please let me know? And if I do it first, I'll post on here to let you know.

Yeah, nls has some, and you can even get some of those through web-braille. Rita Mae Brown's Sudden Death is sort of a fictional account of her relationship with Martina Navratilova. Alice Walker usually has gay women in most of her books, and you can absolutely get Sarah Waters through NLS. I read one called Stir Fry by Emma Donoghue, if I'm spelling it right. Go to nls, do a search with lesbian in the subject field and see what happens.

I'm obviously not a lesbian, but I wonder if any of you have checked out www.booksontape.com they do oth cassette and cd books abridged and unabridged and the sight is searchable, so try it out and see.
